Okay, honestly, I don't know how. or why. I've heard of the award before (I voted for a fanfic last year), but I have no idea why my fanfic is nominated for an award.Anyhoo, thanks for the nomination, and please vote for me when the voting comes.
The fanfic is a Robotech fanfic, and one really doesn't to know much about the original story except that Rick is a fighter pilot in a military unit called the Robotech Defense Force, and there are aliens (the Zentradi), who are divided into two. Breetai's group of Zentradi is alongside the humans (thank goodness) and Khyron's group are the rebellious ones. Rick is stuck in a love triangle with his superior officer Lisa and the pop singer Minmay.
The fanfic itself isn't very canon, and it starts out with Rick not showing up for her picnic with Lisa. Since then, as he's realizing he's falling for her, a series of events keep pushing them apart. (Drama drama drama.)
